FRAGILE WHAT?

Earrings designed for social media.

What This Is

Fragile What? is one of the first jewelry collections intentionally designed to stand out in selfies, spark questions, and start conversations—without being sold online.

This is a retail-first collection built to drive in-store engagement, social sharing, and meaningful impact.

The Mission

This collection is designed to start conversations that end with every child diagnosed with Autism receiving the genetic testing they deserve. Because Fragile X Syndrome is the #1 inherited cause of Autism, yet it remains drastically underdiagnosed.

Why it matters:

• 1 in 150 women are Fragile X carriers

• Carriers can experience RNA toxicity, linked to multiple health isseues

• Awareness leads to testing. Testing leads to answers. Answers lead to better outcomes

Care Notes

• Do not get wet • If wet, remove and allow to fully dry

• Once dry, they regain their strength • Avoid touching the front with dirty hands

They aren't Fragile if you take care of them.

Display & Activation

• 90% recycled black display cards highlight the paper material • Includes mission messaging + social media prompts • Designed to encourage selfies, tagging, and conversation

Wholesale Policy

Exclusively available through physical retail locations and live sales. No online marketplace competition.

New display options coming soon—watch for emails.

A Note from Our Family

This line exists because of our son, Shawn.

His diagnosis changed everything for our family. My wife was identified as a Fragile X carrier—then her four sisters. Then their grandmother. Then nearly half of her twelve siblings. Now, everyone is better informed about new health risk and can choose IVF.

We later learned that carrier RNA toxicity was likely the reason my wife’s father, Shawn, had such aggressive cancer. He passed away at 33, leaving behind a young family of six. At the time, no one knew why.

With Fragile X, one diagnosis almost always leads to two—or many more. Totally worth the $100-200 cost to a hospital to test

After giving away nearly 10,000 Fragile X awareness earrings, we’ve learned that small conversations matter. A question leads to a test. A test leads to answers. And those answers ripple through families, helping people understand themselves—and each other—in new ways.

If this display lives in your shop for years, those stories will come. We’ve seen it happen. And they are always beautiful.

Thank you for being part of this with us. Together, as partners, we can make a real difference.
